چکیده

We demonstrate the use of screen printing in the fabrication of highly efficient phosphorescent polymer organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs) based on a green-emitting Ir(ppy)3 and a host polymer PVK. We incorporate PBD in the polymer host as an electron-transporting dopant and a-NPD as a hole-transporting dopant. The best screen-printed single-layer device exhibits very high peak luminous efficiency of 63 cd/A at a relatively high operating voltage of 17.1 V at the luminance of 650 cd/m. We observed the highest luminance of 21,000 cd/m at 35 V. Due to the high operating voltage, despite of the high peak luminous efficiency the peak power efficiency was found to be 12.2 lm/W at the luminance of 470 cd/m (15.9 V). 2008 Elsevier B.V. Highly Efficient White Organic Light-Emitting Diodes with Ultrathin Emissive Layers and a Spacer-Free Structure

Ultrathin emissive layers (UEMLs) of phosphorescent materials with a layer thickness of less than 0.3 nm were introduced for high-efficiency organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). All the UEMLs for white OLEDs can be prepared without the use of interlayers or spacers. Compared with devices fabricated with interlayers inserted in-between the UEMLs, our spacer-free structure not only significantl...

A new carbazole-containing polyacetylene (PA) was used as a host material in the construction of red phosphorescent LEDs with a configuration of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/host:btp2Ir(acac)/BCP/Alq3/LiF/Al. Compared with PVK as a host in the same device, The PA as a host has enhanced the quantum efficiency up to 1.4 fold. The efficiency of the device can be further improved 4.5 fold by using a BAlq layer in...

Efficient non-doped phosphorescent orange, blue and white organic light-emitting devices

Efficient phosphorescent orange, blue and white organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs) with non-doped emissive layers were successfully fabricated. Conventional blue phosphorescent emitters bis [4,6-di-fluorophenyl]-pyridinato-N,C(2')] picolinate (Firpic) and Bis(2,4-difluorophenylpyridinato) (Fir6) were adopted to fabricate non-doped blue OLEDs, which exhibited maximum current efficiency of 7....

Highly efficient and stable organic light-emitting diodes with a greatly reduced amount of phosphorescent emitter

Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) have been intensively studied as a key technology for next-generation displays and lighting. The efficiency of OLEDs has improved markedly in the last 15 years by employing phosphorescent emitters. However, there are two main issues in the practical application of phosphorescent OLEDs (PHOLEDs): the relatively short operational lifetime and the relatively h...
